He previously worked at Marks and Spencer, where he was Head of Digital International since 2014.

Prior to this, Simon was Head of Online Innovation at Woolworths (Australia), and he co-founded a data start-up (Userneeds) in 2008. He began his career at the Boston Consulting Group in 2002.

Matt has 20+ years’ experience working with and supporting senior executives in PE-backed businesses to deliver results. Prior to joining OMERS, he was a Managing Director in Alvarez & Marsal’s Private Equity Performance Improvement practice, where he served in interim CFO/COO roles in client businesses as well as advising management teams. Prior to this, he was with McKinsey & Company and he started his career with Arthur Andersen.

Matt holds a Masters in Engineering, Economics & Management from Oxford University and is a Chartered Accountant.

Daniel Burke leads AWS’ Machine Learning (ML) acceleration for Private Equity (PE) firms in Europe and Asia-Pacific.

In this role, Daniel works directly with PE firms and their portfolio companies to improve operating performance and increase enterprise value using AIML. In particular, Daniel specializes in designing ML solutions in low-tech and unstructured data environments, enabling companies of virtually any size or technological capability benefit from ML.

Daniel has spent 15 years at the intersection of business and technology, first as a lawyer at Allen & Overy, then as a management consultant at Bain & Company, before becoming Chief of Staff to the CEO of the Huffington Post. Prior to joining AWS, Daniel co-founded a start-up that helped major media companies use computer vision to increase video views up to 150%. Daniel has helped lead ML acceleration efforts at AWS since 2019.

Konstantin is an international entrepreneur and investor with over 25 years’ experience in building, developing and restructuring businesses within the tech sector. He is founder and CEO of the London Technology Club, a platform for investors and technology professionals to co-invest, network and exchange ideas.

Konstantin has successfully built and sold several IT businesses. In 2016 he sold the Eastern European division of RRC Group to a leading US-listed distributor Ingram Micro. In 2020, he sold his data centre business, DataLine.

Konstantin is also member of the board of directors of Channel Mechanics – a leading SaaS platform for channel program execution based in Ireland. In recent years, he switched his focus to investing in technology companies, and was an early investor into Lyft and Spotify.

Konstantin graduated from St. Petersburg Engineering University and holds an Executive MBA from TRIUM (joint MBA from New York University, London School of Economics and HEC Paris).

An avid traveller and mountaineer, Konstantin has conquered a number of peaks, including Aconcagua and Matterhorn, and is a member of the board of the London-based Scientific Exploration Society. He has been living in London with his wife and three children for over ten years.

Natalia Sigrist, Partner Private Equity, leads the “digitalization” of Unigestions’ business, with projects across investment activities. Natalia covers venture capital investments and is a member of the advisory board of several private equity funds. She joined Unigestion in 2017 with the integration of Akina into Unigestion’s private equity unit.

Natalia began her career in 1998 at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Russia as a tax associate where she was advising mainly global IT and telecommunications businesses on their domestic and international tax optimization. Furthermore, she was involved in a number of M&A transactions and operational restructurings of major international corporations post the Russian crisis of 1998.

In 2004, Natalia assumed a Project Manager role at Banca del Gottardo (today absorbed by EFG through a series of M&A) in Switzerland to develop the international expansion strategy in the CEE region and contribute to the internal restructuring process of the bank.

Natalia’s professional experience also includes quantitative research and modelling for FX trading, starting and running a business in the education sector, strategy consulting for start-up firms and non-profit organisations.

Having served five years in the British Army leaving as Captain in 2007, Hugh spent seven years at IQ-EQ initially based in the London offices. Here he assisted in building the Sales team for EMEA. Hugh then moved to Singapore as Managing Director of Asia where he built the firm’s operations in the region.
