Dougal Bennett

Dougal Bennett joined Dunedin in 1999. He is responsible for Dunedin’s directorigination programme. He was involved in the buyouts of GPS, EV, Premier Hytemp, WFEL, Capula, Letts Filofax, Gardner and Caledonian. He currently represents Dunedin on the Board of Premier Hytemp and GPS.

Dougal sits within the Business Services team. He is focused upon high growth companies that operate in market areas supporting cyber security, the use of data in support of the built environment and the drive for decarbonisation.

He graduated with an honours degree in biochemistry from the University of Edinburgh in 1989, having also studied at the University of Pennsylvania. He worked for Hill Samuel Development Capital in London before joining Bank of Scotland in the structured finance department where he was a Director. He then joined Société Générale in 1997 as Head of the European Leverage Finance team before joining Dunedin.

Dougal has played polo in the UK and overseas, worked on a sheep farm in New Zealand and travelled extensively. Dougal enjoys gardening and fishing outside of work.

Graeme Faulds joined eVestment in 2015 with the acquisition of TopQ Software Ltd. Prior to founding TopQ in 2013, Graeme was one of the founding partners of SL Capital Partners, a leading private equity fund of funds. During his 15 years at SL Capital he was responsible for making private equity fund investments and direct co-investments throughout Europe and North America. He has sat on the advisory boards of a variety of private equity funds during his career.

Karine joined Intuitus following a career of over 25 years working in IT delivering large scale Digital Transformation Programmes globally across a number of industry sectors including Logistics, Insurance, FMCG and Utilities.

Karine has also worked at Board level developing and then leading technology strategies for organisations. She has managed IT workstreams during Mergers and Acquisitions activity within FTSE 30 organisations; after which she managed the acquired IT function through the full integration into the parent organisation.

Lorelei Graye is president of the non-profit industry organisation, the Adopting Data Standards Initiative (ADS)1. As the founder of Leodoran Financial, Lorelei has served some of the largest private capital market stakeholders as a strategic management advisor, industry advocate, sponsor, and investor. With the publication of a 2015 CEM study2, her work first reached a global audience by spearheading the development of a first of its kind, data collection and validation process to capture comprehensive total investment costs across a major public pension portfolio. Lorelei continues her work through ADS inspiring the movement towards optimisation and data interoperability as the keys to unlocking greater efficiency for the private capital markets.

Ian joined Silverfleet in 2005 and has responsibility for transaction origination across all offices. He leads the sourcing of executive talent; the technology network and is on the Investment Committee.

Ian has over 20 years’ PE experience having completed investments in Europe and the US with particular focus on financial and business services; consumer & manufacturing.

Ian previously worked for JP Morgan in NYC and London focusing on leverage buyouts, technology investing and investment restructurings. Prior to this, Ian was a strategy consultant at Bain & Co working from Stockholm and Boston.

Ian read Mathematics at Cambridge, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Binoy Parekh is an Investment Manager at Olympus Wealth Management. He manages and preserves wealth for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net worth clients. Mr. Parekh is also a member of Olympus Wealth Management’s Investment Committee and is actively involved with constructing asset allocations, managing portfolios, manager selection and due diligence across both liquid and illiquid investments.

Binoy has over 11 years of experience in asset management ranging from start-ups, an institutional family office and multinational corporations. Prior to joining Olympus Wealth Management, Mr. Parekh worked as the Investment Manager for an institutional size ultra-high-net-worth family office in Salt Lake City, Utah where his responsibilities included leading primary investment decisions for the family. He was responsible for allocating assets to fixed income, public equity and alternative investments. Mr. Parekh was also responsible for the sourcing, selection, diversification and monitoring of money managers and comingled funds. Mr. Parekh handled treasury and cash management needs for the portfolios he managed and operating businesses of the family. Prior to the family office, Mr. Parekh spent 5 years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

During his free time, Mr. Parekh enjoys reading, fitness, hiking and off-roading. He also devotes time to social causes that he is passionate about in Salt Lake City.

Justin is responsible for leading IQ-EQ’s global offering for alternative asset managers, encompassing central administration, accounting, AIFM and depositary services. Following his degree in commerce from Queen’s University Canada, he trained as an accountant with Deloitte. Justin has international experience in the alternative fund services sector, including senior postings in Canada, the UK, the Cayman Islands and Guernsey. He is an expert in the operation, delivery and marketing of fund and investment administration in the alternative asset space. Through his extensive experience serving on operating company and fund boards, he has gained a unique know-how in serving his clients and anticipating their needs.

Prior to founding Jolt Capital, Jean was Managing Partner at Sofinnova Partners, running the IT practice with a focus on telecom and wireless markets. Preceding his career as an investor, Jean was the CEO and founder of 4 companies with successful exits, including SLP InfoWare, which he sold to Gemplus (now Gemalto, XPAR:GTO) in 2000 for $60m and then became VP Telecom Solutions & Applications for the larger group. Jean graduated from Telecom ParisTech and has a post-graduate degree in Artificial Intelligence. He is senior lecturer at Telecom ParisTech and HEC Paris, a former Chairman of the International Venture Club and a Member of Henkel’s Henkel X mentorship program.

Konstantin is an international entrepreneur and investor with other 25 years’ experience in building, developing and restructuring businesses within the tech sector. He is founder of London Technology Club, founder and chairman of the board of Directors of RRC Group and co-founder and member of the board of directors of Inline Technologies Group.

In 2016 Konstantin successfully sold the Eastern European division of RRC to a leading US-listed distributor Ingram Micro. Konstantin is also member of the board of directors of Channel Mechanics (Ireland), co-founder and member of the board of directors of Kasperskian AG (Switzerland), and investor into various technology start-ups, including early investments into Lyft and Spotify. Konstantin graduated from St. Petersburg Engineering University and holds an Executive MBA from TRIUM (joint MBA from New York University, London School of Economics and HEC Paris).

Hugh Stacey has joined IQ-EQ as the Executive Director of IQ-EQ Investor Solutions, which is a division dedicated to servicing the private markets portfolios of institutional investors with the latest technological platforms. IQ-EQ Investor Solutions is a technological product which aims to meet the needs of investment managers and their investors, delivering real time data reporting and data analysis on their investment portfolio.

Having served five years in the British Army leaving as Captain in 2007, Hugh spent seven years at IQ-EQ initially based in the London offices. Here he assisted in building the Sales team for EMEA. Hugh then moved to Singapore as Managing Director of Asia where he built the firm’s operations in the region.
Back in 2013, Hugh joined an alternative investment manager based in Singapore, Vulpes Investment Management, as Managing Director. During his time, he was responsible for all commercial activities as well as product development and corporate strategy. He graduated from the University of Leeds.
